B.O.S.S. (Break Out Scalping Strategy) Manual System, $3000 to $1,000,000 in 1 yr?

I have found them through another blog which is currently doing a live
testing on them.

The strategy is a set-and-forget type strategy. Basically:

(1) Mark down the high and low of GBPUSD everyday from 12 midnight to
7:00 am London time;

(2) Put in a pending Buy order at 5 pips above the high from (1) above;

(3) Put in a pending Sell order at 5 pips below the low from (1) above;

(4) Target profit is 30 pips

(5) Stop loss is 30 pips

(6) Close all trades at the end of UK trading day.

(7) The author uses 10% risk of capital per trade, but personally, I
would rather start with maybe 3% or 5%. And will increase only after I
had begun to feel absolutely confident with the system.

The pdf ebook comes with his results from 2009, which does show rather
consistent results. Maximum losing streak were 2 days. Maximum winning
days were something like 9 days straight. Basically, you will end up
every day, from worst case to best case, -60 pips, -30 pips, breakeven,
+30 pips, or +60 pips. Obviously, from the author's 2009 result, most
wins and losses were near the +30 to -30 pips range, and only a few
cases of wins or losses with +60 or -60 pips.

The pdf ebook also shows various experiments the author had on different
risk:reward combination (e.g. 50 pips profit target versus 30 pips stop
loss), as well as different trading plans and their corresponding
results, using 2009 as example. Basically, the idea is to build up
capital by compounding the profits. If you are very aggressive, like
using the author's 10% risk per trade, theoretically, one could start
with £3000 on Jan 1 2009, and ended up well over £1,000,000 by year end.
